Make an appointment with YOUR legislator For April 26!

  • Please go to and determine YOUR NC Representative and Senator.
  • You can determine your legislators (house and senate) by visiting  The fact that you are making an appointment will help raise their awareness of our efforts that day.  Even if you do not make any appointments, your presence on Legislative Day will create a large impact. Sometimes the best visits are impromptu where you catch the legislator between meetings.

Brief Overview:

  • Arrival to Marbles Kids Museum: 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM. Address201 E Hargett St, Raleigh, NC 27601
  • Brief overview of the day, talking points & agenda. Coffee & water will be provided upon your arrival.You will be given materials to leave behind.
  • Walk to the NC General Assembly/Legislative Office Building to meet with your representative/senator.
  • Stop by the Court 1000 (NC General Assembly) to grab a doughnut (Duck Donuts) and update the lobbyist on your progress.


Driving & Parking Information

  • You can either park closer to the Legislative building and walk to the Marbles museum or select parking closer to the museum itself. Find the map attached.
  • Make a Note: The Fortify I-40/440 Improvement Project roadwork is projected to affect traffic patterns.


What should you wear?

Please wear business attire, business suit, or dress would be appropriate.  When in doubt, dress like this is an important day.  We are leaving an impression of our profession on the legislators.



  1. Educate legislators on chiropractic issues.
  2. Lobby for/against specific bills.
  3. Reinforce the impression that the chiropractic profession is large in number and engaged politically.
